General Officer Commanding Army Division
Malakand Major General Nadir Khan giave brefing to PM Nawaz Sharif about the
natural calamity of Chitral. as well as Lt Gen retired Asghar Nawaz
chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) also briefed about the damages of
infrastructure.
Later on PM Nawaz Sharif meet elites
of Chitral who also delivered speech. PM announced 27 crores Rupes for construction of road
from Dir Lower Chakdara to Chitral as well as for the construction of Drosh
bridges and opening of Utility stores. He also assured that a network of
hospitals and University will also be open at Chitral. PM appreciated
efforts of Pakistan Army who positively take part in rescue and relief
activities. Federal information Minister Parrvez Rasheed, provincial
governor Mehtab Abbasi, commissioner Malakand, Regional Police officer and other
officials including public representatives were present on the occasion
